Manager Nurse - Behavioral Health New

BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to join our outstanding and compassionate Behavioral Health team at Winter Haven Hospital!

BayCare Behavioral Health – Winter Have Hospital Center for Behavioral Health offers a comprehensive range of outpatient services to adults, adolescents, and children suffering from behavioral health issues, emotional problems, and chemical dependency. Our experienced team is comprised of licensed counselors, psychiatrists, and mental health professionals.

• Facility: Winter Haven Hospital
• Location: Winter Haven
• Status: Full-Time, Exempt: Yes
• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Weekend Work: Occasional
• On Call: Yes
  
  

The Nurse Manager Is

• A leader within the health system who demonstrates proficiency in all quality leadership skills.
• Responsible for expertly managing the care of a patient population and practicing expert critical thinking skills when in the clinical setting.
• Responsible for assuming 24-hour responsibility for a patient care unit and acts as liaison between patients, team members, physicians, other customers, and administration.

Required

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RN (Registered Nurse) Nurse Specialty - preferred
  
  

Education

• Bachelor's in Nursing
  
  

Experience:

• 3 years RN Experience
• 2 years Healthcare Leadership OR 1 year in Nursing Leadership with MSN and RN Certification
